Thanks for visiting

from HelloTxt
Thanks to everyone who visited our stand at the ARC Show. This year saw a welcome return to the show’s original location at the BDC, Islington which I believe to be spiritual home for the show.

The show affords us a unique opportunity to meet with many of our existing friends and customers in the design community along with potential customers that are new to Philip Payne. Customer feedback was again very positive with many complimenting our unique position in an otherwise unremarkable emergency market, which they feel like me is often tarnished by low quality product.

Once again our extensive display of architectural Exit Sign products, including the new MINI CF were much admired and they all continue to find favour with design orientated clients. Many of our design clients have a high aesthetic requirement and by modifying our range both in appearance and mounting capability or by making specials we are able to meet practically any bespoke requirement.

We remain extremely proud of the fact that all of our products are MADE IN THE UK at our Solihull site. Recessing product to reduce the impact on a designed environment is always a popular design choice and increases in the performance of LEDs has afforded us new opportunities some of which were on display including the ever popular TYKE emergency down lighter which amazed many visitors with its remarkable new lumen output of 140 Lumens and BRAND NEW extended range of lenses that provide amazing coverage.

The BRAND NEW abstract feature board on this years stand demonstrated a multi level building scenario with it’s perspex avatars and fault simulation buttons it was able to demonstrate new extended functionality that has been added to the SPECTO system. It powerfully illustrated how electronics can be used to simplify emergency testing and fault reporting with centrally indicated switches at each level and an additional single central indicator that can be located adjacent to support staff at reception or control room to alert maintenance of a defect in safety critical product. All Philip Payne products can be supplied to operate on the SPECTO platform which has also been designed, developed and is manufactured at our factory in Solihull. Additionally all Philip Payne products are designed to include full DALI compatibility to meet the increasing demand for controllable Emergency Lighting.
